- I’ve been to your prior events, what is changing?
- For past events we would announce our room number and you would come to the room and line up in a queue if we were at capacity. Going forward we are looking to move that queue to an electronic system. This means
- You must register to enter our electronic queue
- You may not show up on site without using the queue
- Why are you making this change?
- Space is the primary reason. We are a free event with hundreds through the door and our number one complaint over the years seems to be just how much interest we have for the resources available. This new system is setup to let us limit how many people are showing up and ensure that when you do make it over that we actually have room for ya!
- Another core reason is we would like to be able to reward those who help us. The new queue system will prioritize people who have helped us out while still keeping the door open for new people.
- What do I need to do to register?
- Go to FoxPartiesRegBot to register an account. You will need telegram and a valid ID (State ID, Drivers License, or Passport) to attend our events. We will pin the button to join the event queue to our main chat the day of the event so keep an eye out for that!
- How will this work on event day?
- The day of the event we will pin a message containing a button to join the queue for our event. When you press this button it will take you to the FoxPartiesRegBot with a “START” button at the bottom. Pressing the start button will ask the robot to enter you into the queue.
- The robot will ask you if you would like to join as an Individual +1 or as a team.
- All attendees who enter as an individual may bring a +1 (a partner) with them when invited up to the room
- If you would like to attend as a larger group you should pick team. Everyone in a team will be picked at the same time however it can make getting in at peak times trickier.
- Teams must come up with a team name they share.
- Once you have confirmed this information you will be entered into the queue.
- When you are called from the queue you will be sent a message asking you to confirm you can make it.
- You have 20 minutes to confirm, followed by 45 minutes to show up
- If you do not confirm the invite it will expire
- If you do not show up the invite will expire
- The system will warn you before your invite expires.
- Once you confirm you will make it you will be sent a QR Code. Bring this QR Code as well as your ID with you to the event.
- If you have a +1 they will need their ID as well.
- Your +1 can not get in without you. You need to check them in.
- Once on site we will scan your QR Code, scan your id (manual entry is available), then you are free to stay as long as you like!
- Re-entry is done through the queue to ensure we make the most of our space.
- What are points?
- Points change the odds of being picked from the queue during peak times when there are multiple people waiting. The queue system uses this metric in conjunction with how many slots you have been waiting for to reward our supporters with shorter average queue times.
- How do I get points?
- We give out some points for performing actions like registering, uploading a valid SMART Covid Vaccine QR Code, or participating in chat. You can also acquire points by helping out on site or by donating via /donate at FoxPartiesRegBot.
- What is a SMART Covid Vaccine QR Code?
- This is the emerging standard for digitally storing and sending covid vaccination proof. Its easy for our robot to read because its a QR Code, and it has built in security that prevents fraud. We support this standard and if you are able to get one we will recognize it and would like to reward you for helping the fight to get things back on track.

- We support this standard because it is an open federated standard. We are unlikely to consider supporting any closed standards at this time.
- We do not support or recognize physical cards at this time.
- You do not need this to attend, but it will increase your odds of getting in at peak times if you have it.
