Background
Fox Parties has been around since 2018. Over the years we’ve got a lot of experience and support under our belt to share. I’d like to come together, as friends, and bring the warmth and light of these spaces far and wide with the FAF program.
If you’d like to apply for the FAF program contact yumik on telegram with more info about your event from the questions below.
Feel like a lot? Just want to help out? Ping yumik to ask about admin opportunities if you’d like to get some time helping out other events first.
The FAF program is designed to empower open adult event options in the fandom by providing resources and guidance to partner events that adhere to the guidelines and spirit set out within this document.

FAF Partner Requirements
- Either use our inclusivity model or provide a safe space
- Follow our inclusivity model as outlined below
- Be minority led and focused with the aim of creating a safe space for that group
- This event must still be publicly advertised
- Refrain from on-site recreational drug use during the event
- (Contact if questions, I know laws are weird atm)
- Adhere to our FAF alcohol policy below if you are serving alcohol
- Adhere to our safety and conduct guidelines below
Partner events utilizing a shared space or a space granted to them by FAF that was not wholly transferred or attached to the partner event owner bring additional undue risk to the FAF organization. If this occurs the partner event must also
- Explicitly receive approval from FAF to serve alcohol
- Refrain from recreational drug use entirely on site
- Adhere to our list of recommended prohibited kinks
Inclusivity Model
Fox And Friends comes from a lineage of events that prioritized inclusivity to ensure everyone felt welcome and had access to community. Our hope is that all bodies and expressions feel welcome and safe showing up to events that we support.
Events supported by FAF using our inclusivity model can’t restrict who attends based on their gender expression, gender identity, race, cultural heritage, disability, or financial access. This does not apply to minority lead and focused groups that are providing a safe space. This will apply to events that require gear to attend (fursuit required or latex required for example) that cannot provide alternative accommodations for those without said gear to enjoy the event.
Events that restrict based on age will be handled on a case-by-case basis subject to approval.
Alcohol Policy
Fox And Friends will tend to prioritize events committed to not serving alcohol on site due to the added risks and logistics involved. If you wish to serve alcohol as a FAF affiliated or advertised event you will need to follow these guidelines. If the room you are operating in was provided or referred to you by FAF and it is not solely in your event’s name or your name personally you will also need express approval to serve alcohol in addition to following these guidelines.
- All rooms serving alcohol while affiliated with FAF in any capacity must
- Check all ID’s on initial entry of the guest
- Give +21 a separate wristband (or equivalent identifier) to +21 guests if the party is +18
- Remove anyone caught drinking under 21 immediately and contact FLARE or Con Staff to report when possible.
- Refuse to serve alcohol to anyone too inebriated to serve at a bar.
- If your event is +18
- No open coolers of alcohol or unattended liquor/beer.
- Alcohol supplies must be kept in a central area monitored by your event staff
- Alcohol should be served by staff
- If your event allows kink play or sexual activity you must
- Refuse to continue serving anyone noticeably impaired.
- Limit drinks
- Maintain 3 admins on site minimum. One to tend to bar, One to manage the door, One to dungeon master and monitor for issues.
Recommended Prohibited Kinks
Fox And Friends seeks to promote neutral inclusive spaces that don’t inherently discourage any kinks short of safety concerns. However, some kinks do introduce those safety concerns into the picture. Due to the nature of the locations most of these events are expected to operate at we suggest banning the following kinks. If you are utilizing a shared space provided or referred to you by FAF you will be required to adopt this list in addition to any your event may have on its own.
- No Bloodplay
- No Scat
- No Edge Weapon Play
- Watersports Is Facility Dependent
- Requires keeping a bathroom free of scenes
Safety And Conduct Guidelines
Fox And Friends is founded on the Risk Aware Consensual Kink (RACK) model from BDSM. We believe everything has risk and that it’s important for the parties involved to be reasonably aware of the risks. As an event runner your goal should be to help facilitate knowledge in a professional way that helps people understand and make informed decisions about the risks they are taking. You are also here to provide safety nets and resources for when things go wrong. As such we require events to follow these guidelines
- Maintain a basic first aid kit on site at the event
- Promote and utilize the stoplight safeword system
- Handle issues and conflicts professionally
- Reach out to EMS when you are in over your head
- Raise any issues your admins are personally involved in to FAF for review
- Avoid allowing any kinks on site that you are unfamiliar or uncomfortable with the safety
