Flagging Orange

TL;DR, Orange wristbands mean you are comfortable with people doing stuff first and will let the other party know if the attention isn’t wanted. It does not mean you may harass those with them though.

We have strong rules around consent https://foxparties.net/rules/ that were recently codified by mentor and peer review followed by group vote among our party members. You do need to ask to touch someone you don’t know and you need to ask to escalate the scene. This is a wonderful rule to have, it helps prevent abuse and it allows people to feel less pressure.

As part of the discussion we and many of our members had concerns that this prohibited the style of play many were familiar with in their scenes. One that supported people who wanted to be touched by many, be bullied around, or generally embrace and broadcast their slutiness.

To that end we are adopting and slightly tweaking to established hankie code for “anything goes” (Orange) as a wristband to directly indicate those at our party who are open to being approached or having the situation escalated without explicit consent.

Let me be completely clear though, this band does not mean they can’t say no. If these people use safewords or make it otherwise clear that they don’t like what you are doing you need to back off. If you are clearly causing a problem and making multiple people in the party uncomfortable regardless of if they have an orange band or not we will address it as well. It does not mean you can serially harass those with orange bands.

If you want to wear one of these you need to be aware that you might get groped, you might be approached in ways you don’t like, you may even end up in extreme situations you need to safeword out of. If you are not comfortable with your ability to clearly transmit to someone in an unknown scene that you want out then this band is not for you! It becomes up to you to let people know if something isn’t working out for you, not everyone can or wants to do that.

These bands will be available at the party. They look similar to this but our new batch will have “FOXPARTIES.NET” on them to ensure you know they are from our parties.

We will have a poster inside the room if possible showing where they are and with a brief explanation of what they mean, but if you cant find them check with an admin, the bartender, or the doorman.
